Members of the UC Davis community came together at Shields Library for #DataRescueDavis as part of a nationwide effort to backup publicly available scientific data from federal websites. With guidance from experts from the library and the UC Davis Data Science Initiative, volunteers learned how to identify and archive environmental and climate change databases from EPA, Department of Energy, NOAA and NASA websites.
