Inspiring Stories

Inspiring Stories

Behind every gift to the UC Davis Library there is a story — a narrative of how people are fulfilling their life’s passion through a philanthropic gift and, at the same time, touching the lives of students, faculty and researchers at UC Davis and beyond.

We are honored to share just a few of these stories. They show both why someone chooses to give their time, talents and treasures to the UC Davis Library and how that generosity makes a difference.

Hundreds of donors have supported the UC Davis Library with gifts of all sizes and all types, including personal papers, pieces of fine art, and more.

We invite you to read, enjoy and share the accounts of some of the people who have helped transform the library and made a difference in the lives of students, faculty, and researchers with their generosity.
