Archives and Special Collections is open Monday-Friday to in-person services by appointment 10-12 and walk-in 1-5. Appointments must be made 48 business hours prior to your visit. Please submit all questions and requests to SpecColl@ucdavis.edu or leave a message at (530) 752‑1621. Learn more.
Archives and Special Collections welcomes students, faculty, visiting scholars and members of the general public to explore the Library’s rare books and pamphlets, manuscript collections, photographs, the University Archives, and the Map Collection. The Department’s major purposes are to acquire these materials, make them available for use, and preserve their integrity for future generations.
