Justin Merz is the Senior Technology Architect at the library. He guides the Library Digital Applications development team in data management, institutional assets, application development, and deployment to facilitate data intensive research on campus as well as support the Library mission. Additionally he provides technical consulting to data management issues and develops applications, both focused on research projects and components that align with the library’s strengths and service vision.
Justin has a background in web application development, having previously worked on applications relating to California’s water usage, the nation’s biofuels industry as well as an assortment of GIS-based web applications for projects on campus.
