The UC Davis Library licenses thousands of health science eBooks. This guide describes how to find eBooks in the library catalog and by using links to publishers’ eBook platforms. A select list of human health science eBooks that are available from the UC Davis Library is provided, organized by specialty.

Many health science eBooks are housed in collections that can be browsed or offer full-text search capabilities.

Off campus? Access to these collections requires authentication via Library VPN (Pulse Secure).

UC Davis Library licenses thousands of electronic books. To search all of the available health sciences eBooks:

  1. Go to Library Search.
  2. Enter search terms in search box. You may search by keyword, title, author, or subject.
  3. You can filter results by selecting Electronic Books under Resource Type or Full Text Available under Availability in the filters column to the right.

Note:  Not all books are available electronically.  You can find print books in Library Search as well, using the Library Catalog option.

The eBooks on this page represent only a small portion of the thousands of titles licensed by The Library.  Search the entire collection

Most of the resources on this page require logging onto the Library VPN (Pulse Secure) for access from off-campus or via campus guest wireless.
