Under the general direction of the library’s Director of Communications and Marketing, has primary responsibility for oversight of the content and information architecture of the library’s public website and employee intranet. Partner with the library’s user experience designer, web developers, and content creators across the organization to ensure that site content is understandable, discoverable, compliant with accessibility requirements, and consistent with library brand and style guidelines. Set social media strategy in coordination with the director of communications and marketing. Create engaging written and visual online content for the library’s public website, intranet, social media, e-newsletters, and other online applications as appropriate. Use analytics to assess and improve website content and structure, and social media engagement.
