Under the general direction of the Library HR Unit Head, provide analysis, consultation, advice, and planning regarding staff human resource (HR) issues, assuring UC policies and Library best practices are followed. Involved in the full scope of HR programs: recruitment, staff orientation/on-boarding and off-boarding, performance management, employee and labor relations, leave management, training and development, merits, appraisals, and personnel/payroll actions. Coordinate salary and benefits information for various appointments. Independently manage reward and recognition programs and implement campus HR initiatives for the Library. Participate in community building events. Assist with academic personnel matters to support personnel team needs.
