Server Administrator &Workstation/Help Desk Support Services Manager

Under general direction of the Head, Information Technology Infrastructure Services, serve as a member of the department’s Planning Group. One of two server administrators responsible for the installation, maintenance, backup, and upgrade for all Library desktops and servers (hardware and software) towards meeting the Library’s requirements for a secure, reliable, and productive computing environment for the library staff and users.

As the Windows Server Administrator, lead responsibility for all Windows servers including the creation and testing of configurations. Serves as the backup Unix server administrator.

As the manager for the Workstation Support and Help Desk Service units, responsible for supervision of the unit, and the smooth operation of all library workstations and related equipment plus support for approved software applications for library staff and public patrons.
