Project Description
Dao’s paper highlights a new take on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD): the emerging understanding that PTSD is a physical trauma, not just a psychological one. Dao referenced both psychiatric and medical/biological journals and databases to bring attention to the physical changes in brain structure caused by PTSD, which have significant impacts on overall health.
