Gerome highlights the Picnic Day Collection during Picnic Day Pre-Week

It is Picnic Day Pre-Week here on campus so what better collection for Gerome to highlight than the Picnic Day Collection!  The collection contains programs, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia from Picnic Day celebrations from 1909 to the present. We also hold the Picnic Day Board of Directors Records which include reports, financial records, meeting minutes, and publicity materials that document the Board’s work in organizing UC Davis’ annual open house.

Special Collections will be participating in Picnic Day on Saturday, April 18 as part of the Shields Library Open House. Special Collections will be open from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Stop by and say hello!
