Whether you work with data regularly, want to level up your data literacy skills or are considering a career in data science, there’s something new to learn during UC Love Data Week, February 8-12.

Hosted by data organizations across the UC system, including the UC Davis DataLab, UC Love Data Week is filled with presentations and workshops on data access, management, security, sharing, and preservation. The events are free and open to the entire UC community.

Scholarly Communications Officer Michael Ladisch will present on data ownership and copyright implications for scholarly research data. Librarian David Michalski will explore different methods for locating and evaluating social science data sources, including in data repositories, such as ICPSR and Dataverse.
