Send a Course Reserves Reading List to the Library

Once you’ve finished building your Course Reserves reading list, you’ll need to send it to the library. Sending the reading list to the library notifies library staff that the reading list is ready to be processed. Until the reading list is sent to the library, it’s considered still being prepared and therefore subject to changes. Consequently, library staff will not process any reading list until it is sent to the library.

If necessary, you may add items and send individual items even after sending the reading list.

1. Click Send List to send the entire reading list to the library.

2. That’s it! Library staff will process the reading list so that items will be available to students as quickly as possible. If there are any problems or questions about the reading list, library staff will contact you. Otherwise, you may follow the progress of the reading list in Canvas; a glossary of processing terms is available on our reading list FAQ webpage.

1. Add item as normal.

2. Click the Options menu (… icon) located next to the items’s title and select Send to Library from the drop-down menu.
